PermLok™ Characteristics

  • Compression between Annulus and Collar causes Nut to lock as it seats on top of Collar.

  • Nut stops turning on the Bolt because of thread interference.

  • Plastic deformation occurs between Annulus Threads and Bolt Threads.

  • Ideally suited for one-time permanent installations.

  • Approximate 60% Bolt Pre-Load is achieved.

  • PermLok inhibits Bolt Over-Torquing.
